Dear Mr & Mrs Conole:
I would like to express
my deepest sympathy on the passing
away of your daughter Irene.
Rapalee and I are stationed
here together and I went
through boot camp with Irene.
Would like to at this time
to say that Irene was one
of the nicest and most wonderful
girls that I have ever met
since I have been in the
M Navy. She was always

so much fun & very easy to
get along with.
A lot of the girls you meet
in the Navy, you forget, but
I shall always remember
Irene.
I have just received my
orders for Pearl Harbor, I guess
I will leave in two weeks. If
someday I ever get to New
York, I would very much
like to stop in for a visit.
Maybe in the near future.
But now I would like to
remain
Sincerely
Mickey
