Dear Anna Dann
I sent you, yesterday –
a money order of $9.60 – I now send
you two orders – one for $5 – & another for $11 –
which you may collect – and put –
to the payment – 1st of you & Margaret –
and second the balance to the house
expenses — $18.90 – in all – it will be
paying you for two weeks work – but you
put the account strait – I am
waiting to hear from sister Mary – she has
not written a word since she left the
hotel last Thursday – a week ago tomorrow – she
is bound to make a good visit – up there
at Duluth – she may come at 1:30 this
noon – we shall see? – Write me here
– I now think I shall go down to Fort
Scott – I am so near – that it seems

there – but will decide – when Mary
comes – But write – if no more
than to say you are well and no. 17 –
