dear Daughter,
Yours of 24th just received
if the Browns Race Property is not sold, in
leasing it reserve a strip of the basement
of the new building, about 12’ wide the whole lenth
the front row of iron posts would be the Eastern line
the scales also would either have to come out or be
moved farther East. in my deal with Mr Hutchins
I may need that room. I wont no until I return.
the Bridgeford matter is getting to be interesting
it is only what was to be expected, that M & M
Money done the business the two poorest pays
is the one that dont pay all and the one that
pays in advance. there are 11 Rochester people here
at present Mr A B Lamberton wil be here by
the first of March that wil make the number 12 we have
just had a cold spel it went down to 26 above for
a few hours, one night just at present 2 PM it is 78
sun shine all the time
