Map, canal map of the State of New York

This map accompanied the State Engineer and Surveyor’s report for 1912. It shows the path of the new Barge Canal in relation to the existing Erie Canal and other routes in the state’s canal system. It also identifies abandoned canals and canals retained as feeders. The inset includes an elevation chart on the profile of the Barge Canal.
