D.B. DeLand & Co. was a chemical manufacturing company started in 1852 by Daniel Brown DeLand and his wife, Minerva Parce DeLand. Located on Main Street along the Erie Canal in the Village of Fairport, NY, the company used the canal to ship its high-quality baking soda and other products east and west across the country.
