I am about as good as new, but
sister Susan is in a very poor way –
The Dr. stayed with us all night
until after breakfast this morning –
Had consultation of Physicians, & two
trained nurses – our Carrie & myself, all
that can work to advantage, avoiding
talk & noise much as possible—we can
only await the time for change for
the better, which I hope will be soon.
Many thanks to you & Katie, With love
